13 cattle rescued by police

Mangaluru: The city police intercepted a lorry illegally transporting 13 cattle and arrested four men on Thursday.

The arrested have been identified as Naeemuddin, Radhakrishnan, Subhash Shetty and Sathish Kumar who were travelling in two vehicles. Naeemuddin was driving the Kerala registered lorry along with Radhakrishnan. Subhash Shetty and Sathish Kumar were behind the lorry in a car.

Both the vehicles were seized by personnel under Kavoor police station limits late after midnight on Wednesday while they were plying towards Mangaluru from Udupi.
