26 students of Alva's selected for IIT

Mangaluru: As many as 26 students of Alva's Pre-University College have passed JEE Advance examination 2017 and have become eligible for IIT, said Dr M Mohan Alva, president of Alvas Education Foundation in a press conference.

M Chetan, Shashank U, Yashas H L Vaibhav, V Athani, Mrithyunjay Rajendra have passed in CRL division, Vaibhav V Athani, Vikas G S, Shashank S, Shravan Y R, Ashwas A, Shivakumar V K, Snehal R L, Hemanth K S have passed under OBC category, Ranjith K, Nagaraj, Ravi Kiran R T, Suresh V, in SC division, Ujwal H P, K Sakshi, Vishnu Prasad T R, Akash in ST division and Nithin B, Pavan D, Varshitha S M, Prathik D P, Deepa S Chingari, Supraja K S are selected in ST preparatory division.

Dr Mohan Alva said that the efforts of the students and planning of experts who trained them has made the college proud.

Alva's institute PRO Dr Padmanabha Shenoy, IIT coaching department head Gananath Shetty and Ashwath S L were present.
