Puttur: A youth from Alagurimajalu near Uppinangady ended his life by consuming poisonous substance on Monday March 7. The youth was frustrated at his inability to convince his family to accept a girl of his choice as his wife.
The deceased is Shivaram (29), a resident of Alagurimajalu. His family members stoutly rejected the girl he had chosen as his future wife. This made him to take the extreme step.
Uppinangady police have registered a case.
