35-year-old working at Mumbai commits suicide in lodge at Moodbidri

Moodbidri: A person working at a Mumbai-based hotel hanged himself in the room of a hotel in Moodbidri. The incident came to light on Monday January 23. The body was found to be belonging to SundarDevadiga (35), son of Gulabi Devadiga from Gujjottu. He was unmarried. He had performed the marriage of his sister last year.

Sundar had arrived here on Sunday and hired a room in the hotel. He was found to have left behind a death note, which said that he was alone responsible for this suicide. His body was found to be hanging on Monday morning by a room boy.

Police personnel from the town station visited the spot, conducted inquest, and registered a case. No immediate reasons could be attributed to this suicide.
