500 Congress workers to join BJP on Oct 16

Udupi: Around 500 former congress activists along with the Jayaprakash Hegde former Congress MP will be joining the Bharatiya Janata party at the Parivarthana Convention to be held in Brahmavar on October 16.

Parivarthana convention will be held at Valentine compound at 3 pm which 4000 to 5000 people are expected to attend in the convention. This Parivarthana Samavesha is being organized by Jayprakash Hegde supporters."

Ananth Kumar, Union Minister for chemicals and fertilizers, Shobha Karandlaje MP of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru, R. Ashoka, former deputy chief minister and MLA, Nalini Kumar Katil MP of Mangaluru , V Sunil Kumar MLA of Karkala, Kota Srinivas Poojary MLC and former Minister of state, Jayaprakash Hegde former MP, Lalaji Mendon former MLA of Kaup, Laxminarayan former MLA of Byndoor, Tingale Vikramarjuna Hegde State BJP Secretary, K Udya Kumar Shetty, Senior Leader, Dinakar Babu Zilla Panchayat President, Sheela K Shetty ZP vice president and others will present at the convention.
