53-year-old tipper dies consuming liquor mixed with poisonous substance

Udupi: A tipper driver committed suicide near Shirva market by consuming liquor mixed with poisonous substance. The victim is Chandrahas Poojary (53), a resident of Janata Colony at Mattar.

He was a liquor addict. His body was found lying in a room behind Shirva market on Thursday. After leaving home on Wednesday, Chandrahar, did not come back.

As a bottle of poison was found near his body, it is believed that he would have consumed poison with liquor, having been frustrated with his life. Poojary is survived by wife, a son, and a daughter.
