55-year-old loses balance and dies in Kollur temple

Kundapur: In an unfortunate incident, Shivanandan (55), a resident of Irinjalakuda in Thrissur district, lost his balance, fell down, and suffered grave injuries which eventually resulted in his death at Kollur.

Shivanandan was a pilgrim visiting Kollur Goddess Mookambika temple. He had come here with family members. He was walking by the temple when he sighted a bull coming from the opposite direction. He tried to run away, lost his balance in the bargain, and fell down. He suffered serious injuries to his head in the bargain.

Shivanandan was rushed to a private hospital at Manipal. Efforts made by doctors to save him failed, and he died on Wednesday evening.

A case about the incident was registered at Byndoor police station.
