Mangaluru: The most prestigious Awards in Konkani Music, awarded by Mandd Sobhann – the 7th Global Konkani Music Awards, will be awarded on Sun., Dec. 13, 2015, at Kalaangann.
The Queen of Indipop, Bollywood Singer, Hema Sardesai, will be presenting the Awards. She will also be singing on the occasion. ‘Fado’ Queen Sonia Shirsat will be performing that evening.
Mandd Sobhann’s Singing Club ‘Sumell’ will be presenting a few group songs in 4 voices. Nach Sobhann will present the dances. Mandd Sobhann orchestra led by Shri Richard Monteiro will provide the music. Arun Raj Rodrigues and Jacqueline Fernandes will compere the show.
Top-3 Nominees of all 6 categories will be honoured on the occasion and the final winners will be declared, announced and awarded at the Ceremony.
The Event commences at 6 p.m.. The public is requested to occupy their seats at 5.45. Admission free.
