A J Institute of Engineering and Technology observes Cultural Day

Mangaluru: A J Institute of Engineering and Technology conducted its Cultural Day on April 8 at the institute.

Prashanth Shetty, vice president of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. In his address, after the distribution of prizes for the various technical events, Prashanth Shetty advised the students to actively participate in the various events organised on behalf of Cultural Day.

Dr Shantharama Rai C, principal and event and extracurricular activities chairman Dr M Kishore Shetty were present.

Jenifer presented the vote of thanks. Various events like singing, dance, mime, skit and Mad ads events were conducted for students of the institution. Sowjanya was the master of the ceremony and Glen Rueben welcomed the gathering.

The prizes of the various competitions were distributed at the valedictory ceremony later in the evening.

All the department heads were present during the distribution of prizes.
