Udupi: Aam Aadmi Party is confident of winning a huge majority in the assembly elections in Punjab and Goa, after huge kick starts in Delhi by winning 67/70 seats, AAP has been growing in popularity all over the country, said Shantala Damle State coordinator of the Aam Aadmi Party.

While addressing media persons in Udupi, she said that AAP Udupi calls upon local leaders and prominent people to join the party and to support AAP in Goa election. AAP’s increasing popularity in the poll bound states has unleashed a lot of vendetta by the political opponents and they have been creating obstacles in every possible way for the Delhi government. Yet, Delhi government has achieved great results in health care and education.

She said that on last Sunday 16th October, Arvind Kejriwal held a rally in Surat, Gujarat that was attended by thousands of people. Several road blocks were created to stop the AAP’s rally in Surat. The permission to conduct the rally was delayed several times, AAP volunteers were detained and beaten up by police, an AAP MLA who was in charge of the rally was detained by Delhi Police one day before the rally in Gujarat, on the basis of a fabricated case, a landlord of the AAP Surat office was pressurized to ask the party to vacate one up against Arvind Kejriwal. And many more such despicable acts. Despite all these Gujarat have spoken loud and clear. They are ready for change, ready for AAP.

Under the leadership of State Convener Prithvi Reddy, AAP Karnataka has been focusing on Karnataka targeting the assembly elections in 2018. Thousands of volunteers have joined the party across the state in the last few months by giving a missed call.
During the press meet, Jaikishan, Joint Secretary, Ganesh, Subramanya, Anil and others were present at Press Club.
