‘Aatid Ongi Dina’ celebrated at Rotary Shankerpura

Shankerpura: Rotary Club Shankerpura celebrated ‘Aatid Ongi Dina’ (A day in Aasada month) and Rotary family get-together here on Monday, 28th July 2014 jointly with Inner Wheel Club Shankerpura.

The programme started immediately after their scheduled Weekly Meeting. The chief Guest on this occasion was Shri. Purushotam Aithal, a businessman from Perdoor. He entertained the gathering with humour.

Keeping the tradition and culture of costal Karnataka, this year also, the menu was selected specially for this occasion. Sumptuous vegetarian food served in banana leaves and was enjoyed by one and all.
Rtn. M.G.Nagendra, Assistant Governor, Zone III, RI Dist 3180, delivered introductory talk.

President of the club Rtn. Jerome Rodrigues welcomed the gathering and Club Secretary Rtn.Clifford D’Mello proposed vote of thanks.
