Accused gets bail in Pitty Nagesh's murder case

Udupi: Three of the main accused, who have been named as having carried out the murder of Pitty Nagesh alias Nagesh Devadiga (41) from Kukkikatte, have succeeded in securing conditional bail from the court on Thursday April 23.

Pitty Nagesh, a notorious rowdy sheeter from the area, had been stopped by some people in front of Halima Sabju Auditorium at Udyavar near here on the night of September 11 last year when he was moving in his car and then chased around and killed with lethal weapons. All the accused were arrested by the police the next day.

Main accused, Vishwanath Shetty (32) from Korangrapady, Guruprasad Shetty (26) from Alevoor Guddeangady and Richard alias Munna (33) have now got conditional bail. The bail was sanctioned by the district and sessions judge, Shivashankar B Amarannavar.
