Agricultural convention and workshop to be held on Sunday, 14th Feb.

Udupi: In order to give awareness on agriculture and availability of various benefits from the government, Udupi Dsitrict Krashika Sangha to organize district level agricultural Convention to be held on Sunday, 14th February, 2016 at Sri Sharada Mantap campus which will be inaugurated by Sri Vidyvallabha Theerta Swamijji of Kaniyoor Math at 10 am.

This convention to be held from 10 am to 3.30 pm, where a keynote address by Agriculturist and activist Narasimha Nayak of Thirthahalli. After the inaugural function, various interaction programmes will be held on farming of various agricultural products.

Kasargod CPCRI Scientist Dr. Ravi Bhat will give information on productive technology, Dr. Hanumanthappa of Brahmavar on agricultural products marketing, Manchi Srinivas Acharya and Manjunath Goli along with Dr. Chaithyanna will give various information’s on the agriculture.
During the occasion, five achievers’ in agriculture will be felicitated. More than 5000 farmers will be expected to participate in the convention.

During the convention, Ramakrishna Sharma Bantakal will preside the occasion. Shalini S Shetty, Regional Manager of Vijaya Bank, Manjunath Upadyaya, Former Deputy Governor of Rotary International and others will participate as guests of honour.
