Aneesha Nayak wins gold at I-Fest 2018

Mangaluru: Aneesha Nayak of St Aloysius PU College bagged gold at I-Fest, an International Fest of Engineering, Science and Technology, in Tunisia.

In 2017, Aneesha was the first Indian to bag this award at the fest and she has once again created a record by winning gold in 2018 I-Fest for the project titled, ’Unearthing the Chemical Components Responsible for the Antibacterial Properties of Plectranthus Amboinicus’, under the guidance of Nivedita Nityananda of the Department of Biology at St Aloysius Pre-university College.

There were 250 projects from 25 countries at the fest. Aneesha is also an Asian-level surfer.
