'Antigone' by Sophocles, Konkani drama to be staged at Kalangann

Mangaluru: Konkani drama, 'Antigone' will be played at the Kalangann stage of Mandd Sobhann on December 2 at 6.30 pm as the 204th episode of 'Moinyali Manchi'.

The much discussed drama Antigone by Sophocles is translated into Konkani by Arunraj Rodrigues.

Viddu Ucchil, award-winning young director has directed the drama.

The artists of Kalakul, Konkani's lone professional theater repertory will act in the drama. Lighting is provided by Kingsley Nazareth. Costumes are done by Flavia Rodrigues. The entry is free for the public as per the information given by the organizers.
