Anugraha English Medium School ujire First Aid and Basic Life Support Programme at Anug

Ujire: “ People rarely give first aid a thought, until the day they need it. With the correct first aid training anyone could, in the short term save a life” Said Fr Vijay Lobo, Principal, Anugraha School Ujire. He was addressing the students in a programme on “First Aid and Basic Life Support.

Mr. Devasiah Varghese and team from Benaka Health Centre, Ujire were the resource persons. In their presentation they highlighted, the aims of first aid like to preserve life, to prevent the situation from getting worse & to promote recovery. They also demonstrated how to administer Cardio- Pulmonary Resuscitation(CPR).

The Programme began with a prayer song, sung by the Xstd students. Athmi of Xstd welcomed the guests and coppered the programme.
