Atal Tinkering Lab at Little Rock

Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar is one of the 177 schools of Karnataka chosen by the Govt of India to open an Atal Tinkering Lab. The Lab was inaugurated on 4th September 2018 by Capt. Ganesh Karnik. BEO of Brahmavar Mr. Lokesh C was the Chief Guest. Director of Little Rock Indian School, Prof. Mathew C. Ninan, Principal Dr. John Thomas, Head Masters and Science teachers from neighbouring schools and selected students and teachers of the school attended.

Capt. Ganesh Karnik said that the mission of ATL is to create one million Neoteric Child Innovators in India by 2020. He also emphasised that the ATLs will be hubs of innovation where young minds will accelerate their ideas to solve unique local problems. He urged students to make maximum use of the lab and go beyond the regular curriculum and text book learning to explore skills of future such as design and computational thinking, adaptive learning and artificial intelligence.
