Aussie marathoner Pat Farmer on his way to Kashmir comes through Kallianpur

Udupi, 7th Feb. 16: The world famous Australian ultra marathoner and former Australian Tourism Development Minister Pat Farmer, who is on 4,600 km long ‘Sprit of India Marathon’ from Kanyakumari to Kashmir reached Udupi district on Friday, 5th February, 2016.

Mr. Pat Farmer is also former MP of Australia began his marathon from Kanyakumari on 26th January, 2016 and expected to reach as per the projected to Kashmir on 30th March, 2016.

After brief programme at Dr. G. Shankar Government First Grade College, on his way to Brahmavar the students of the LVP Higher Primary School greeted Mr Farmer at NH 66, Puttur on Friday, 5th February at noon, and some had garlanded him on his way. He said earlier in Udupi that his goal is raise 1,00,000 Australian Dollars to promote education of girls in India. On the other hand, his goal is to inspire people.
