Auto ferrying students overturns at Thokkottu

Mangaluru: An autorickshaw driver and a student sustained injuries when the auto which was ferrying school children overturned after ramming into a shop at Thokkottu near Ullal.

This incident occured on February 27 morning. The mishap occurred when the autorickshaw was passing through the Thokkottu over bridge.

A brake-failure is said to be the cause of the mishap. The autorickshaw was reportedly carrying more children than the prescribed limits.
