Awarness against drug held with rally

Udupi: The District Police under the leadership of Dr. Sanjeev Patil, Superintendent of Police organized the programme to create awareness against the consumption of illicit drug especially by the students community.

Large number of various schools and colleges students in the district initiated the programme and participated along with the police personnel in a walkathon, rallies and public meetings carrying placards and say no to drugs.

The Udupi district police goal of the campaign is to create awareness amongst youngsters against drug addiction is inspiring one. Meanwhile the district police would be making intensive efforts to create awareness on the consequences of drugs abuse in colleges of the district.
