BJP protests against Congress administration at MCC

Mangaluru: District BJP workers gathered in front of the Mangaluru City Corporation and protested against the administration of the Congress party on various issues which the people are facing and demanded to take necessary steps on Tuesday October 6.

Speaking during the protest, BJP leader, Ravi Shankar Mijar said, that all the developmental work has been stalled as soon as Congress Party got the power in Mangaluru City Corporation. He also said when BJP was in power, every revolutionary developmental works were done and all the main roads had been concretised and widened.

" Two wheeler riders are riding with holding their life in their hands. Media is highlighting the ruined roads but the corporation is in deep sleep. Even the water supply is completely shattered and administration is trying to test the patience of the people. Street lights are also not working." Ravi Shankar Mijar added.

Sudhir Shetty Kannur general secretary of district BJP said, "Before the elections, Congress had promised many things in their manifesto. But none of them is fulfilled. Waste management in the city is a headache for the people."

Thilak Raj, Vedavyasa Kamath, Roopa D Bangera, Dr Bharath Shetty, Satish Prabhu, Divakar and others were also present on this occasion.
