BJP releases book on worst situation of government ladies hostels

Udupi: District BJP released a book on worst situation of government ladies hostels in the Karnataka during the a press conference at BJP district office at Kadiyali.

Speaking to media persons, K Udaykumar Shetty State Executive member of BJP, said that as per the survey conducted by the BJP Mahila Morcha members, the condition has been worse.

"There are no permanent wardens, No sufficient toilets and bathrooms in 352 hostels, 660 hostels not in good condition to reside, no libraries in 434 hostels, no clerks in 86 hostels, the quality of the food about 666 hostels is not up to the standard. 430 hostels no computers, 318 places there is no ground to play, there is no scope for cultural activities in 278 hostels, there is no CCTV camaras in 585 hostels and in five districts the committee found larger corruption," Udayakumar Shetty said.

Dinakar Babu Zilla Panchayat President, Prabhakar Poojary, Sandhya Ramesh, Hemant Kumar, B. N. Shankar Poojary, Katapady Shanker Poojary and others were present.
