BJP worker hacked to death in Kannur

Kasargod: A BJP worker was hacked to death by a group of assailants who barged into his house at Kannur. Due to this, Kannur is observing a bundh today in protest against the murder. The deceased is Santosh (52) from Andaloor in Dharmadhom. The incident occurred at around 11.30 pm when Santosh was all alone at home.

The police who rushed to the spot after they were intimated by neighbours of Santosh, rushed him to the Tellichery Co-operative Hospital. But doctors declared him brought dead.

Sources said soon after the incident, a crude bomb was hurled at the RSS office by some miscreants. The furniture in the office were damaged in the incident.
