BJP workers thrash Congress workers in bar

Mangaluru: BJP workers thrashed Congress workers at Moonlight Bar at Thokkottu Olapete late night on Wednesday. In this incident, George (51), and Mohandas (42) from Krishnanagara were injured.

BJP workers expressed their ire at the one at the receiving end of this attack, for seeking votes for Congress candidate in the urban local body elections held recently. In this ward, Congress candidate, Chitra Chandrakanth, had become victorious. The attackers have been named by the victims of the attack as BJP workers, Kavith, Arun, and Suni.

Ullal police registered a case against the accused.
