Blood Donation Camp 2019- Rotaract Club

As a corporate social responsibility, the Rotaract Club of the college organised a Blood Donation Camp in association with the Indian Red Cross Society KSHEMA. The camp started at 10:00am and at 11:00 am the inaugural function was started with the Lightning of the Lamp by the guest Dr. Sumalatha Shetty, Professor of Anesthology Department Coordinator NSS unit, Lion Chandrahas Rai President Lions Cmub Mangalore, Lion Nagesh Kumar Dist. Coordinator- Blood Donation Camp Mangalore, Lion Shridhar Rah Shetty Treasurer Lions Club Mangalore, Mrs. Veda J Rai Senior Lecturer of SIHA, Ms. Rainha Barretto, Rotaract Officer SIHA.

There were 15 staff from KSHEMA who volunteered for the camp. Around 34 students including Faculty from SIHA voluntarily donated blood.

A seminar was conducted by Dr. Sumalatha Shetty on Dengue Awareness and a talk on the Importance of Blood Donation was given by Ashwathi, final year PG student kshema
