Blood Donation camp at Madanthyar

Mangaluru: By donating blood we become the saviors in others life, with this great motive in our mind ICYM Madanthyar unit organized blood donation camp in memory of our Church’s post centenary silver jubilee under Red Drop campaign. On Sunday, 12th November in a meaningful inaugural program held in our Guardian Angel school gave beginning to our camp. Rev. Fr Basil Vas our Parish Priest presided over this program.

On this great occasion we also had the esteem presence of Fr Jerome D’Souza our Principal, Fr Alwyn D’Souza our Assistant Priest, Mr Manish Varado ICYM President, Mr. Balakrishna Blood Bank in charge of A.J. Hospial, Mr Rohan Lewis PRO ICYM Central Council, Mr. Tyson D’Cunha ICYM President and ICYM members.

Mr. Balakrishna Blood Bank in charge of A.J Hospital addressing the gathering spoke about the significance of Blood Donation. Rev. Fr Basil Vas in his presidential note appreciated ICYM members for organizing such a wonderful program. Mr. Tyson D’Cunha welcomed the gathering and Secretary Arvin Moras proposed vote of thanks. 57 people from our vicinity donated their blood and gave very good example to all of us.
