Brent D’Souza from Udupi gets Sheikh Hamdan Award

Mangaluru: Brent D’Souza, hailing from Udupi and studying in Cambridge International School, Dubai, has won the Sheikh Hamdan Award for Distinguished Academic Excellence of 20th cycle (2017-2018).

This prestigious UAE National award was conferred on him by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Hamdan Award for Distinguished Academic Performance, a GCC-wide programme was established 20 years ago. He has also worked on eco-projects and rendered selfless support to the community and environment programmes.
