By December every district and taluks would have generic medicine stores and 24x7 pharmacy centers -U T Khader Minister for Health

Shiroor: Minister was speaking to the media persons at Green Valley School, after his visit to Primary Health Center and gram panchayath, Shiroor.



He said the Department of Health and Family Welfare will soon recruit 923 PG Doctors (spl surgeons), 321 MBBS Doctors, 87 dental surgeons, 2000 other paramedical staffs.

He also said that government will introduce sophisticated diagnostic centers and high-tech labs in all districts hospitals to provide affordable rates to the needy people.

State government has 198 new ambulance services out of which Udupi will have 3 to 4 additional 108 service in the second week of November.
He called up on the privet institutions or management to come forward and stand for the poor. He also congratulated the Green Valley National School Trustee, for contributing Rs 2.5 crore for the sophisticated general medicine and gynecology and maternity hospitals that is designed to be built in Shiroor.

The school also announced Rs 15000 and Rs 7500 incentives for the doctors and nurses who work in the newly built hospitals with government hospital and free education to the children
