CDE programme held at Yenepoya Dental College

Mangaluru: Yenepoya University in association with department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Yenepoya Dental College conducted a day-long Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programme ‘CBCT: Addition of 3rd Dimension to the Treatment Planning’ at Yenepoya Dental College, Deralakatte.

Dr B H Sripathi Rao, dean, Yenepoya Dental College inaugurated the CDE programme. Welcome address was given by department head Dr Laxmikanth Chatra. Yenepoya Dr B H Shripathi Rao addressed the gathering explaining the importance of the CDE programme.

Guest speaker Dr Ashwini Kumar M, professor and head MNR Dental College, Hyderabad, specialized in implant radiology, spoke on 3rd dimension to the treatment planning in particularly to implant imaging. Speaker stressed upon the role of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist in implant imaging. Dr Rachana Prabhu, reader in the department, rendered vote of thanks.
