Chaali Polilu to have sequel

Mangaluru: Tulu blockbuster‘Chaali Polilu which released in 2014 will be back with its sequel. The film which which released in 2014, ran for 511 days creating a new record in Coastalwood. It had Devdas Kapikad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, Sundar Rai Mandara, Lakshman Kumar Mooluru, Chethan Rai, Arjun Kapikad and others in pivotal roles.

It is said that the film will continue from where it stopped with the lead characters’ kids playing the roles. The film will also have a message for the society. It is not known who will direct the film. While the first was directed by Veerendra Shetty Kavoor, it is said that the sequel will be directed by Prakash Pandeshwar, who is also the producer of the film.

Prakash Pandeshwar had directed Dabak Daba Aisa. however the film did not do well as expected. Thereofre we will have to see, who will direct this film.
