Children Sports Meet to be held on Children's Day on 14th November at Perdoor

Udupi: Udupi District Athletic Association Udupi ® in association with Brahmavara Sports Club and Yuva Shakti Sports Club Perdoor will organize on the occasion of Children’s Day on Monday, 14th November, 2016, Kids Sports Meet at Dr. Madhav Pai Sports Ground, Perdoor High School, Perdoor.

Addressing to media persons at Press Club, Udupi on Friday, 11th November, Dinesh Puthran, President of UDAAU, said that in the sports meet from 9.11.13 year age for boys and girls sports meet to be held. Udupi district 30 schools around 1000 children registered their names.

Dr. Hebri Subashkrishna Ballal Pro Vice Chancellor of Manipal University will inaugurate the Children Sports Meet at 9.30 am. Jayaram Suvarna Managing Director of Jayadev Motors and K Shantharam Sooda former Mandala Panchayat head of Perdoor will the chief guests.

He said that during the inaugural ceremony, Smt. Shalini Rajesh Shetty, award winner of World Master Sports Meet held at Australia and Perdoor school rising star of sports Rakshitha will be felicitated.

During the prize distribution ceremony at 3 pm Rtn. PHF Dr. G. S. K. Bhat will distribute the prizes. During the valedictory programme chief guests will be Smt. Shalini Rajesh Shetty International sportswomen, and H S Ganesh Bhat Head Master of Perdoor High School, Perdoor.

Chandrashekar Hegde, President of BSC, Brahmavar, Seethanadi Satish Shetty, Secretary of Udupi district Athletic Association, Gregory D’ Silva, Treasurer and Ramesh Prabhu were present during the press meet at Udupi.
