Congress protest against resignation of Haladi Srinivas Shetty

Kundapur: Members of Congress party held mass protests near Shastri Circle on Thursday over the resignation of independent MLA in Kundapur Haladi Srinivas Shetty before the completion of his term. State INTUC president Rakesh Mally said that resigning from the post of MLA and joining BJP shows Haladi Srinivas Shetty’s selfish attitude. “

He has betrayed the citizens who elected him. Resigning all of a sudden without attending the problems in the constituency is a painful matter. Elected representatives resigning every now and then for personal gain is disastrous for the democratic system. The electorate of Kundapur will teach him a lesson in the next elections,” he OPINED.

Congress workers raised slogans against the MLA. The protests were jointly held by Kundapur and Kota Block Congress.
