Corporation Bank bags ’Skoch Silver Award’

Mangaluru: Corporation Bank bagged the ’SKOCH Silver Award’ for attaining the position of No.1 channel partner of LIC of India for the past three financial years. The Bank was also awarded Order of Merit under three categories namely CAPS-Virtual Account based Collection of Corporates, Aadhar Enabled payment System and Point of Sale.

C K Gopal, General Manager, Corporation Bank, received the award on 16th December, 2016 at New Delhi in the presence of Nilesh Sathe, Member, IRDAI, Sameer Kochhar, Chairman SKOCH Foundation, Manisha Kochhar and Nirmal Bansal, Advisors of SKOCH.

SKOCH Awards are known for their unique approach in selection of awardees which follows a rigorous process of selection by an eminent Jury of industry leaders, domain experts, economists and academicians. SKOCH Awards identify and salute best practices and comprehensively document, publish and put in public domain for the knowledge of others.

Corporation Bank has been consistently receiving awards from organizations of repute on various facets of implementation of technology, customer relationship management, financial inclusion etc., over the last many years. Recently, the Bank has been conferred Best MSME Bank Award 2016” instituted by The Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).
