Critically acclaimed Kannada film ‘Railway Children’ screened at SAC

Mangaluru: Department of Postgraduate Studies and Research in English of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) screened critically acclaimed Kannada film ‘Railway Children’ for the students of Sahodaya and MA English on February 9.

The film is written and directed by Prithvi Konanur. The film deals with the lives of children, who run away from their homes, and live in railway stations and trains. They grow up as criminals despite their intentions being harmless and seeking only to earn a living.

The film has won National Award for Best Child Artist, 2016 Karnataka State Award and many international nominations.

The director and the associate director of the film will join the staff and students for an interactive session (Master Class) on February 12.
