DK MP Nalin says government is trying to divide Hindu community

Puttur: Dakshin Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said that the state government is engaged in the wicked conspiracy to wedge a divide in Hindu community.

In an indirect dig at Ramanath Rai, he said, "Ministers from this district, who have been intoxicated with power, have lost control over themselves and are behaving like the historically famous eccentric Sultan of Delhi, Muhammed Bin Tughluq."

MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, addressing the participants, accused the state government of trying to nail Hindu belief systems by enacting anti superstition law, insulting Hindu gods and other divine beings in which Hindus believe in, insulting Deyi Baidethi and son. He accused the state government of trying to override Hinduism.
