Discussion programme on "Commercialization of Education" held

Puttur: A discussion programme on commercialization of education wa held at Aims first grade college, Kadaba recently. Young author and activist of human rights, Ismath Fajir spoke on the occasion.

“Education is getting commercialized today. The educational institutesshould quench the thirst for knowledge, however they have become the centers of pomp. Human values are breaking down among students. Uniform education can solve the problem,” he opined.

Journalist M Arif Kalkatta inaugurated the programme. Aims College honorary advisor Haji Rafik Master, lecturer Deepika, Beary Sangha organizer Mohammed Iqbal were present. Student Anwath Banu prayed. Mohammed Abhizir proposed vote of thanks. Ashiba conducted the programme. College principal Semira K A presided over the programme.
