Mumbai, June. 11: The distribution of Books and other Educational accessories to the poor students for free of cost was held on Sunday in KCA auditorium, Nallasophara.The program was organized by Konkani Catholic Association Nallasopara (KCA) in collaboration with helping hands dot gives association under the presidency of Coutinho. He expressed his views on the occasion.
The Police officer of Palghar, Thane District – Sandeep Mukol and the office bearers of KCA and Helping hands association were present on the program and presented the various assistances to the children and wished them bright future.
Sandeep Mukol said that, “Encouraging the students is a great job. In that respect services of the KCA is unique. Let the prompt and diligent service of this organization may bring fame and glory to it”
Even this year more than hundreds of students were provided with Uniform, Books (Notebooks), and other academic accessories and the school fees were paid by the Association. The members of the executive committee Hilda D’Souza, Claud D’ Silva, Lavina Dais, Lilly Quadras, Romeo Castelino, Daina Moras and the members of helping hands – Jeevan Kotian, Imelda D’Souza, Peter Rodrigues were present on the occasion and worked hard to make the program a grand success.
Rohintan Kaka welcomed the gathering and compered the program. Rony Pais read the lists of Beneficiaries. Richard pinto rendered vote of thanks.
