Mangaluru: Veteran freedom fighter and social worker H S Doreswamy has declined to accept Nudisiri award of this year.
Doreswamy has also decided not to participate in the annual event held this year from December 1 to 3. As Dr Mohan Alva was heading one of the committees connected to Dharma Sansad convention held in Udupi recently, is having ideological differences with Dr Alva and has therefore decided not to accept Nudisiri award.
Doreswamy also cleared that he ahs nothing persoanl against Dr Alva. He has lauded Dr Alva for his achievements in education, arts and literature.
