Dr Veerendra Hegde releases Gopal Gowda's book 'Kudubiyara Maduve'

Mangaluru: 'Kudubiyara Maduve' an in-depth, analytical and sequential presentation of wedding traditions of Kodial Kudubis written by M Gopal Gowda and published by Kudubi Janapada Kala Vedike (R) of Yedapadavu, was released on May 29 by Dr Veerendra Hegde at Dharmastala.

Gopal Gowda is a versatile Kudubi folklore artiste and presented over two hundred performances of Kudubi Folklore and has authored several books on lifestyle and traditions of Kudubis. Presently, he is associated with Konkani Institute of St Aloysius College (autonomous) in the capacity of a librarian.
