Mangaluru: Barke Police have arrested a youth from Odisha who was found selling ganja near the KSRTC bus stand at Bejai on Saturday.
The arrested person is Tanvir Khan (21). Ganja weighing 437 grams, a mobile phone and a cash of Rs 250 has been seized from him. The total value of the goods seized from him is estimated at Rs 10,925. Police raided the place following a tip off that a person was selling ganja to students and public in the car parking area of the bus stand.
The operation was led by Barke inspector Rajesh A K. The accused has been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
