Eco Club activities inaugurated at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: Eco Club of St Philomena College Puttur inaugurated its activities on August 5, 2017 in Spandana Seminar Hall.

Mr. Edwin D’souza, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry participated as the chief guest. He said, ‘Adequate supply of fresh and clean drinking water is a basic need for all human beings on the earth. It has been observed that majority of the people are deprived of this due to ecological degradation.’

Prof. Leo Noronha, Principal presided over the programme. He said, ‘Industrialization, urbanization and other human activities have serious and adverse impacts on our environment.’

The Convenor of Eco Club Mr. Nagaraju M, co-convenors Ms. Rakshitha R B and Ms. Shashiprabha B were present on this occasion.

Ms. Dhanyashree welcomed the gathering. Ms. Navyashree proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Antony Shreyas Rodrigues compered the programme.
