Expert PU College celebrates Gandhi Jayanthi

Mangaluru: The birth anniversary of the father of our nation 'Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi' was celebrated at Expert P U College, Kodialbail, here.

The chief guest for the programme was professor Ramchandra Bhat, principal, Expert P U College. Niha Sheikh, cultural coordinator, Manoj Shanbhogue K, HOD, department of chemistry, Karunakar Balkur, programme coordinator, staff and students were present on the occasion.

The birth anniversary of another famous personality 'Lal Bahadur Shastri' was also celebrated on the same occasion. Floral tributes were presented to both the personalities by the dignitaries.

The chief guest, professor Ramchandra Bhat spoke to the students about Gandhian ideologies in the present generation.

The programme included devotional songs by the students. A painting competition was conducted on the theme 'Gandhi and Religion' where students displayed their creative ideas colorfully.

Meghana B M compered the programme and Bhoomika P delivered the vote of thanks.
