Expert PU College hold Iftar gathering on campus

Mangaluru: An Iftar gathering was organized at Expert PU College, Valachil. "Iftar gathering strengthens solidarity among people. The ritual of fasting in Ramadan helps one to focus on inner self and gives an intense call to empathize with less fortunate of the society," said MLA Mohiuddin Bava, the keynote speaker.

Dr Muhammed Thahir medical director of Yenepoya Speciality Hospital, said Iftar helps in bringing unity among the students and fasting, like detaching from worldly pleasure, makes the students stronger. He also expressed his pleasure to be a part of this programme.

Professor Narendra L Nayak, the chairman of Expert Group of Institutions delivered the presidential address. The vice-chairperson of Expert Group of Institutions Ushaprabha N Nayak addressed the gathering. Trustee of Expert Educational and Charitable Trust Ustad Rafeeq Khan, Ankush N Nayak the director of Information Technology, Abdul Rauf the managing director of Vishwas Builders, Abubakkar, were the guests of honour.

Dr NK Vijayan, the principal of Expert PU College, Valachil delivered the welcome speech. Hiba Haneef proposed the vote of thanks and Ayesh Mahreen compered the programme.
