FMHMC&H Deralakatte holds health awareness camp talk

Mangaluru: Father Muller Homeopathic College Deralakatte, held a health awareness camp talk on the topic infertility and homeopathy at the Deralakatte campus.

The programme started at 10 am with lighting of the lamp. The dignitaries present on stage were Fr Sylvester Lobo, assistant administrater, Dr Prema D’Cunha, professor and HOD of OBG of Father Muller Medical College, Dr Shivaprasad principal FMHMC&H and Dr Vilma D'Souza HOD of OBG FMHMC&H, Dr Anita Lobo professor, Unit 1 OBG (OPD) in-charge and convener of the programme.

The programme began by invoking God's blessings with a prayer song by the interns.

Dr Vilma, gave the welcome address. This was followed by the chief guest, Dr Prema D’Cunha's speech. She spoke on the burning issue of infertility and how with homeopathy it can be treated. She is doing her research along with Dr Anitha on the efficacy of homeopathy in the treatment of infertility, which has been sponsored by the Ayush department. She said she was very happy with the encouraging results optained. Dr Shivaprasad spoke on the topic 'infertility and importance of homeopathic treatment in treating and curing it'. Fr Sylvester Lobo delivered the message on the importance of holding such camps. Dr Anitha Lobo the convener, proposed the vote of thanks.

The camp began with a health awareness talk by Dr Wandana PG and team.

A large number of patients were present at the programme and camp.
