Faculty, students from Swiss nursing college visit Milagres Degree College

Mangaluru: A group of faculty and students from Switzerland led by Blaise Guinchard, associate professor visited Milagres Degree College.

The interactive session took place in the principal’s chamber. Along with Fr Michael Santhumayor, principal, and Prof Lourdusamy, academic advisor of Milagres Educational Institutions was present. Various possibilities of twinning opportunities with the Swiss Institute were discussed. Fr Michael elaborated the educational system in India particularly the university system.

A detailed account of the courses available in Milagres College and the facilities provided to the students was shared with the visiting members. Prof Blaise Guinchard evinced keen interest in knowing the functioning of the university system in India. He guaranteed the principal that all possible assistance by way of skill development to the students could be worked out in the future.

The college also has an understanding with International Management Institute, Switzerland, to provide internship facilities to the students of hospitality sciences of Milagres Degree College. A high level team from the Swiss Institute is likely to visit the college in July 2018.
