Farewell programme for second PU students of Valachil Expert PU College held

Mangaluru: "Students should bring repute to their institute through their exemplary service to the society”, said Usha N Nayak, vice-chairperson of Expert Group of Institutions, after inaugurating the farewell programme for second PU students of Valachil Expert PU College on Monday, May 22.

“Young minds should use social networks for positive use and not to spoil the reputation of others,” she said.

Professor Narendra L Nayak, chairman of Expert Group of Institutions presided over the programme, and spoke on occasion and said that strong academic foundation is essential for students of science. “Discipline, personality and hard work help in greater achievements at degree level,” he said.

College principal Dr N K Vijayan speaking on the occasion said that the discipline and methods of student life help in moulding the personality of students. “They should go for achievements that are beneficial to society,” he said.

Subrahmanya Udupa, head of the department of Mathematics welcomed the gathering. Jasmine Prathibha, English language professor compered the programme.
