Kundapur, May 16: On the eve of transfer of Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Paul Prakash D,souza who served for two years as an asst. Parish Priest, the devotees of Holy Rosary Church of Kundapura held a farewell function.

The Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Anil D,souza honored Fr. Paul Prakash-who got transfer from Udupi diocese to Mangalore diocese and said “ Our Assistant Parish priest rendered a selfless service. He finished most of the church projects succesfully.By joining with youth and everyone in church he strived for the solidarity”. He wished good-luck.

The other Priest Rev. Fr. Pravin Amruth Martis said “Rev.Fr. Paul Prakash had a great compassion towards the poor and enthusiasm in the service of God. In these two years he has inspired everyone”. He wished goodluck for the future services of Rev. Fr. Paul D’souza. The president of the church managing committee –Johnson Almeida read the certificate of honor.

“I have served here by the co-operation of you all. Chief Parish priest encouraged me a lot. The devotees of Kundapur will always be in my heart” – Rev. Fr. Paul Prakash expressed his gratitude in reply to the send-off. Sister Vibha-the chief of the St. Joseph Convent, Kundapur was present on the dais.

During this occasion the heads of the community, members of the managing committee and devotees of the church were present. The Managing committee secretary-Felcia D’souza compered the programme.
