Puttur: Divya Chethana Association of St Philomena College and St Philomena PU College Puttur celebrated Annual Feast of Patron St Philomena on August 11, 2018 in college auditorium.

The Judicial Vicar, Diocese of Mangalore Very Rev. Fr Walter D’Mello participated as the main celebrant. In his message he said, ‘Primarily we are spiritual beings. We have purpose in our life. However, in modern world of competition and technological progress we have no much time to have spiritual life. Human beings must try to have discipline, values, courage, Faith in God, sincerity, truthfulness and strength to face the challenges.’

The Campus Director Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro acknowledged the support extended by donors and well wishers.

The Principal of St Philomena PU College Rev. Fr. Vijay Lobo, Parish Priest of Maril Church Rev. Fr Valerian Franc, Parish Priest of Bannur Church Rev. Fr Prashanth Fernandes, Rector of Santhome Guru Mandira Minor Seminary Rev. Fr Sunny Mathew, Parish Priest of Panja Church Rev. Fr Anil Lobo, Assistant Professor of PG Studies in Commerce Rev. Fr Sunil George D’Souza, Assistant Priest of Mae De Deus Church Rev. The second part of this programme consisted of various cultural items.
