Felicitation to JUO Rachana N R at St Philomena PU College Puttur

Puttur: As Rachana N R of second year PCMB of St Philomena Pre University College Puttur took part in the prestigious 68th Republic Day Parade in New Delhi, College has organized a felicitation programme in Audio-Visual hall on February 15, 2017.

The Campus Director Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro felicitated JUO Archana N R and delivered felicitation address. He said, ‘Today’s world is demanding respect. As an exception, Rachana is commanding respect. Good heart and good will is the basic requirement to attain success in life.’

The Principal Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo in his felicitation address said, ‘This is for the first time that a girl student from our PU College has participated in RD parade and brought fame to the institution. NCC Cadet Rachana N R is very much known for her versatile qualities.’

NCC Officer Lt Johnson David Sequeira highlighted the achievements of Rachana N R. Prof. Malini N, Associate Professor in Chemistry and mother of Rachana N R thanked the Principal, Campus director, NCC Officer and all the teachers of Rachana for extending their support and encouragement.

Rachana N R presented her memorable experiences in pre RD camps and in RD parade. Her father Prof. Ramachandra N G and Dean of Science Mr. Yashawanth M D was present on this occasion.

Lecturer Mrs. Sumana Prashanth and team presented the prayer song. Lecturer Mrs. Viola Pereira welcomed the gathering. Lecturer Mrs. Sathyalatha Rai M compered the programme.
