First Pigmy Collector’s Association is Inaugurated in Kundapur

Kundapur, Apr. 26: The first association of Pigmy collectors was inaugurated at the St Mary’s Jr. College Auditorium. MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. “This is the first association in India. You have done a great job by establishing this association. Now you can put forth your pleas efficiently in front of the government.”-said Kota Srinivas Poojary.

The well wisher of the association Kishan Hegde said, “Pigmy collectors help the banks and co-operative societies to develop. The members of this association may claim for group insurance, PF fund etc. I will give all co-operations to this association.”

Rev Fr. Anil D’Souza presided over the function and felicitated Kota Srinivas Poojary on behalf of the association for his 25 years of Priestly Ordination. He said, -“If you love your job, you will definitely succeed. Let you be blessed in all the ways. We have provided the auditorium for your need so that your dream may come true.”

The president of this first association Antony Almeida welcomed the gathering. Vice president G R Gopal expressed his views. Chandrashekhar Beejady compered the programme.
